I live in NYC and although we cab very rarely, when we do, I insist my son is in a booster seat. I purchased the bubble bum (which name my 8-year old loves) in September and have now used it a few times in taxis. it is an AMAZING booster seat. so easy to use, and seeing the lap part of the seatbelt properly positioned in my son’s lap, rather than over his stomach is very comforting. sometimes when I’m in a seatbelt the lap belt portion doesn’t lay properly, so knowing that he’s always properly belted is wonderful. I encourage everyone to buy and use this product. it’s lightweight, easy to install and uninstall, and a great price. It saved us a whole car seat’s worth of space in our suitcase, and despite my concerns that it would require a superhuman amount of puff, was incredibly easy to inflate and took less than a minute to be ready to use.
